This is the information and collaboration portal of the projects with the general title “In-service Training of Teachers in the utilization and application of Digital Technologies in the teaching practice (B-Level ICT Teacher Training) Project" (1st & 2nd Phase), of the Operational Program “Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning”, NSRF (2014-2020).
The projects are implemented on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs by the Computer Technology Institute and Press (CTI) – “Diophantus” acting as the beneficiary, in collaboration with the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP), and constitute the continuation and development of the “B-Level ICT Teacher Training” updated, upgraded, enriched and extended to all teacher disciplines.
The portal of the B-Level ICT Teacher Training Project is addressed to all potential beneficials, i.e. to Teachers, Teacher Trainers, Candidate Teacher Trainers and Teacher Trainees, Training Support Centres, Certification Centres and other implementation structures of the project in general in order to provide:
- Information on the development and implementation of teacher training and certification.
- Support for issues concerning the project, through the Help Desk service.
- Provision of educational and other relevant material to facilitate the training from all aspects (i.e. educational, managerial and organizational).
- Communication facilities among colleagues on issues of training and of the project in general through discussion forums, as the case may be for specific categories of users.
- Appropriate access (depending on the profile of each user) to the Management Information System for Teacher Training and Certification, the repository of educational activities - IFIGENIA, as well as to other supportive structures and modern, online learning tools, which are being made available gradually to facilitate communication and cooperation of the participants in the training of teachers and teacher trainers.
Personal access credentials are assigned to users from the CTI - "Diophantus" project support team, in the phase of undertaking their role or when starting their involvement in the teacher training - certification (e.g. interested teacher - applicant for participation/ certification, teacher trainee, teacher trainer, staff in Training Support Centres). Teacher educators with participation in any of the above roles in previous trainings - certifications (A-Level ICT Teacher Training, B-Level ICT Teacher Training, B1-Level ICT Teacher Training) are entitled to common access to all supporting systems and platforms of CTI - "Diophantus" related to ICT teacher training and certification, using the same credentials.
It is clarified that:
- the discussion forums of the portal aim to serve the communication needs of certain users, participants with a specific role in the project (e.g. teacher educators, scientific committee representatives and members of scientific groups), regarding issues related to teacher training and the project in general.
- the owners of the portal are not responsible for the publications and comments posted in the discussion forums by the entitled users. In the event that you are offended by comments or posts, please inform the Help Desk Service of the project accordingly. Any defamatory, offensive, vulgar, abusive, threatening or racist comments will be deleted by the portal administrators.
- educational scenarios, studies, articles and other educational/ training content in general that is being made available through the portal is covered by the current legislation for the protection of copyright of the authors and can be used by third parties only for educational non-commercial purposes (e.g. for school use in the case of educational scenarios). For any other use, interested parties should contact the authors of the respective material.
